Blessed Christmas, my friends!
Another year's gonna end again. Time really flies but many things have happened for the year.
I really stumbled hard and had several severe bruises this year. Sometimes I really cried "It's just too hard!" and often prayed to God to make the paths straight for me. What I've actually realised is that God never promised an easy life.
The devil always likes to creep in to say, "If God loves you, why are you still in such mess?" I spent so much time having and listening to negative thoughts. Indeed God put us through difficult times.
BUT, there's the promise that God will never put us through difficulties that we are not able to withstand. Too many people wanted victory without battle, triumph without effort, and ease without labor. God's world never function that way. He wants to bless us and prosper us from the work of our hands as we must obey Him.
Anytime God asks us to do something, He always gives us the ability to do it. And even in difficulties, we need to remember that God loves us and has a good plan for our lives. The problems may eventually work out for good.
Well, it is true that God never promise us an easy life but he does promise a blessed life! =)
